-To ensure the proper management of fish-farming in accordance with the prefecture’s regulations
-The fight against pollution.
-Cleaning and maintenance of the beds and banks of water courses.
-Maintaining the freedom of circulation of migratory fish.
-Participation in research by means of fish stock records.
-Care of the water courses and lakes of the AAPPMA.

Several days of clearing and tidying up of water courses take place at the end of the fishing season.

The AAPPMA also has a special relationship with local councillors and co-operates with the Joint Associations of TRÉGOR and HAUT-LÉON.
